Sometimes it just hit you very hard, and sometimes it offers you the sweetest moments you could possibly dream of. My sister had a very nice moment with my grand-mother yesterday, they chatted a long while and went deeply into their commun memories.
I... on the other hand had only seen an unconscious woman, that somehow still look like the wonderful grand-mother with whom I lived for more than three years, her eyes, when she opened them, where lost. She can't see much now, and has almost no reactions at all.
Life can be hard, but I had a lot a great moments with her. how many young adult can say they've been to theater with their grand-ma to see the Matrix? She was, and will always be in my heart, the greatest woman on earth... and beyond.
Whatever watches over us is better to welcome her with open arms or otherwise... I'll have some beat up to do when I'll get there.
